Monthly menus save my life. And my budget. If you look closely you’ll see what creative dinner I came up with for the first of the month. Having a menu helps me when I’m making my grocery list. Shopping with a purpose saves me time and money.
Based on the next week’s worth of dinners I already know I need to pick up bacon, potatoes, eggs, spinach, cilantro, tomatoes, orzo, chicken, and olives.
That’s the beauty of planning out your menu. And if I’m in a pickle and forgot to pick up something I allow myself to switch dinner ideas. Sometimes my kids complain if I swap meals around, but honestly they should just be grateful I feeding them. Having a menu board helps me in case I need to pull meat our of the freezer or start the crock pot.
Hope this menu helps you out. Feel free to give it a pin. We are back in school so our routine is comely along nicely. Happy Cooking!
