What teacher wouldn’t want a Star Wars teacher appreciation treat? Since May the 4th is during Teacher Appreciation week you can celebrate Star Wars and Teachers. Let’s not forget what an amazing teacher Obi Wan was! It’s almost too perfect. You can make and decorate Star Wars cookies with your kids on May the 4th. Then on Revenge of the 5th you can take your extra Star Wars Cookies and deliver them to your favorite teachers. These Yoda cookies are too cute not to share!
And I am going out on a limb but since Yoda was a Grand Master Jedi, I’m pretty sure he’s popular with teachers. Ok, maybe not English teachers. But I am sure your kids teacher’s will love it!
I made sure to make a copy with Nurse and Coach too! I know I am so thankful for the sweet nurse at my children’s school. She is taking care of my diabetic son everyday monitoring his blood sugars. It’s nice to remember during Teacher Appreciation Week all of those who serve and help our kids. Taking a treat to your school nurse or sports coach is a great way to show them that you are grateful!
I know that when I feel valued and appreciated I am always willing to go above and beyond in my job or calling. Those kinds of things help to keep you going when you have deal with hard part of your job. So even more important than cookies or treats is writing a heart felt letter of thanks. I try to take time to let the teachers and staff that they are making our world a better place. We need great teachers. And we need to thank them for being great.
