This little girl loves sparkles. We had a great time last week painting our toes for the 4th of July. And she was so excited about the sparkley top coat. My trick for painting her nails is sitting her on our step stool to help keep her sitting still. And I let her hold the sparkle one while I painted her red coat. Listening to musicals also helps. Doesn’t she look so grown up here? She is going to be two next month and we are so happy with how much she is growing. She started walking about a month ago and she hasn’t stopped. She loves it! Her therapist was so excited. She is about ready to graduate from therapy. I am so thankful for all her wonderful therapists who have helped her so much. And I am so thankful for Yoda. Every morning we spend time with her, doing her exercises. He has been so patient while we have needed to focus on her and helping her grow.
She has eye surgery scheduled in September but it’s suppose to be real quick and easy. One of her eyes is “crazy” according to her brother Draco. I remember him asking “when is her eye going to stop being crazy?” Hopefully this will fix it. It’s scheduled the day before Talk Like a Pirate Day. I asked the nurse if she will need a eye patch. We would be okay with it because of the timing. Apparently she only needs eye drops. Her geneticist wants a MRI and I think once that is cleared and fine she will be just a normal little girl. What a blessing this is!!! Our hearts are so full for this sweet, strong spirit. Her brothers adore her. We adore her! Life is so much fun with our darling daughter…
