I just had to share my favorite guacamole recipe. Last month when I went home to California I was blessed to get some avocados from my in laws. They have the BEST avocados!!! We have avocados from California shipped here, but they don’t taste as great. My in laws taste like butter! Amazing flavored butter! They ripened quickly here like most things do and so I had a large amount that were ripe at the same time. We made guacamole after church one day and ate the whole batch right then.

Flavorful and chunky Guacamole perfect with chips, salads, burritos, quesadillas, and more.
Ingredients
- 4 or 5 avocados
- 1 tomato, chopped
- Cilantro, at least half the batch
- limes juice from 2 or 3 limes
- 1/4 -1/2 Red onion, chopped
- Garlic Salt
Instructions
- Mash your avocados up in your bowl. I like to use a potato masher.
- Stir in tomatoes, cilantro, and red onion.
- Add lime juice and garlic salt to taste.
- Grab a chip to sample and if necessary add more lime or garlic salt.
Notes
- For Homemade Chips cut up corn tortillas using a pizza cutter. Fry in oil and place on a paper towel. Add salt to taste.
