I love posting my monthly meal ideas on my blog. If I can help families make it easier to eat dinner together than it’s a win! But really this monthly posting helps me personally as well. Last month for the first time ever I didn’t post my monthly dinner menu. Ever since I started my blog I’ve been posting every month. Click over to see my monthly menus. And let me tell you how much crazier my life was because of it. I made a menu and meant to post it. But it ended up next to my computer, so it didn’t get transferred to my menu board. That threw off my shopping and meal prep. I was so busy with fall break, my son’s baptism, and our awesome family Halloween costumes.
So it may not be much of a surprise that my kids fended for themselves most nights and we opted for cereal and top ramen. On the plus side I had way less dishes to wash.
Let’s just say, despite being late, I’m really grateful I’m posting my family’s monthly meal plan. This really helps me stay organized. I save money and I’m not stressing about what to make at 4:00 or 6:00 if we are talking about last month during costume making time. Our month is already filling up and I know having a list of dinner ideas ready is going to help me out.
