Last month flew by so quickly. We had so much fun with our Family Halloween Costumes. But I am excited to share our monthly dinner menu with you again. In case this is your first time reading about our monthly dinner menu let me tell you why I love this system…
Planning a month worth of dinner menus at one time really helps me save time. Weekends seem to fly by and next thing I know it’s Monday morning and I need to go shopping and plan out the week. But when I planned a month in advance I can look forward to the next week when I am shopping and see that I need to pick up some fresh basil or mushrooms. Planning each month also helps my family get out of the rut of eating the same meals every week. I try to plan some meatless meals or I plan to make more of something so we can transform the leftovers the next day. I also like to plan my crock pot or easy meals on Thursday because that is my crazy weekday. I have three boys in choir and it can get a little busy. Also we try to keep dinners simple on Sunday. I like to link dinner recipes to my favorite blogs so we can all try new recipes together. I have loved hearing from some of you that this has blessed your family as well. It’s made dinner time easier for my family, which leaves more time for sitting around the table and sharing our day with each other. I know these simple family traditions have brought more love and happiness to our home.
