Family Halloween Costume time! In case you haven’t noticed our family LOVES Star Wars. I’m pretty sure my hubby has read every Star Wars book ever written. We celebrate May the 4th Be With You. We make Star Wars pancakes. We watch the movies all the time. We even have Star Wars Family Nights. We have I don’t know how many light sabers in our house. And it was no surprise that when Georgiana was 1 and she would see Darth Vader she would start breathing like him. We decided to do Star Wars for the 2015 Halloween year, but some discussion took place on what episode. Because my kids are really into Ewoks we went with Return of the Jedi. But my husband wanted to be Obi Wan, my favorite, because he loves an excuse to grow a beard. I told him he wasn’t in episode VI. But then he reminded me that he was, but he was ghost Obi Wan who looked on Luke with approval. Problem solved…

I present you with our finished costumes for this year. Doesn’t my hubby make a handsome Obi Wan? My girlfriend was so great to capture some pictures for us. We will have more pictures coming soon along with the additional tutorials. I was really bummed the gardeners removed a bunch of bushes from our common area. It’s kinda hard to get that Endor Forest look when you live in a desert.
