Now that Thanksgiving is over the countdown has begun.
For Star Wars: The Force Awakens. My kids (and husband mostly) are so excited for this new movie. Poor Gandalf, my oldest, got in the car the other day and thought he would be watching it that weekend. Grady is thrilled to be taking our kids to this new Star Wars movie. And have you seen the trailer??? It looks amazing. Grady and I actually watched the 2nd and 3rd movies together at midnight showings. This year Grady is going to see it when it first comes out. And then we will see it as a family (minus our adorable Leia) that weekend. I didn’t realize it would be rated PG-13 till months after I already promised the kids they could watch it. I am making an exception this one time. Our rule is you have to be 13 to watch PG-13 movies.
I thought it would be fun for the kids to countdown till the new Star Wars movie came out. I mean who doesn’t love a fun countdown? Especially when it involves cotton balls. It’s so easy simply print off my Printable Countdown for The Force Awakens Countdown on white card stock and glue a cotton ball on everyday. It will be like Christmas, only better. ; )
And if you think you want to dress up for the movie premiere be sure to check out my Star Wars Tutorials for Princess Leia, Endor Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight, Han Solo, or our Ewok. I will be adding a Jedi robe soon! I know our family is excited to watch the movies before hand too! I think Grady found a way to make the 3rd one PG. We of course will be watching them in the intended order: 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, and then 6.
What better way to bring your family closer together this holiday season! I hope your family enjoys this Star Wars Countdown. And we sure to sure my blog for more Star Wars ideas.
Merry Christmas! And may the force be with you!
