Today I wanted to share my favorite blog posts for the year. I really appreciate all the support, comments, and shares I have gotten through the years. It’s always fun to look back and choose your favorite posts. Maybe not the post with the most page views but the posts that mean the most to me. And if I missed your favorite be sure to share it below.
So here are some of my favorite post of the year….
I absolutely loved Ariel when I was a girl. And I even remember attending the most amazing party Little Mermaid Party.
2. Talking to Your Kids about Sex
Something I feel passionate about is open and honest communication with our children, especially with such sacred importance.
3. Hogwarts 9 3/4 Platform Sign
We love having this sign in our home. And it’s probably my post popular pin. I think we are up to 6.5K pins right now.
This was such a fun theme for my husband’s Birthday Dinner.
According to Leslie Knope this is the best day of the year! (Can you tell we love Parks & Rec?) I love having girl time, especially brunch, where ladies celebrating ladies.
6. Our Family Lord of the Rings Costumes
I had so much fun with our Lord of the Rings Family costumes. I can’t decide which one I love the best. They are all so cute! And totally fit their personalities.
It was great to surprise my hubby with one of his favorite treats. These Cream Puffs are famous in the Huntington Beach Area. Grandma Jean is probably one of the sweetest people I know and she was more than happy to share her special recipe.
8. Family Night Lesson: Plan of Salvation and Free Printable
Having weekly family night lessons is one of my favorite family traditions. I love the spirit it brings into my home and I know through consistent family nights our family will be blessed. If you guys are looking for a family goal for the new year I would recommend this tradition. And this Family Night is probably one of my favorites. Visual aids really help my kids learn about the gospel.
9. DIY Alexander Hamilton Costume
Has anyone else fallen in love with Hamilton this year? Our family loves listening to the edited version. And my son looks so stinking cute in his costume.
I didn’t work on enough roadside treasures this year. I am hoping to find more treasure this next year. I just loved painting this dresser (and my door) this gorgeous color.
And a big thanks to all those who support and encourage me. It really makes my heart swell when you share or pin things from my blog. I have loved sharing part of my heart with you this past year. It’s wonderful to look back and see growth and improvement. Or all the amazing people I have met. And also to learn from mistakes. Probably my biggest party throwing fails happened in this post. I look forward to sharing things that I create or ways to help encourage stronger families. It’s great to start setting goals this time of year.
