Another year has come to an end. It’s always fun to look back and remember the past year. I thought it would be fun to share my Top Ten Blog Posts for the year. It’s great to see the progress you have made and remember the great things that have happened. I love making goals and the motivation to get re-organized. But since today is my birthday I might just wait to make goals another day. I still have a couple of days to get things together, right?
So here are my favorite blog posts of the year…
I loved making my daughter this little kitchen! It was so great to see her pretend to make dinner and bake cookies. I love this little kitchen so much! And I love how much it helped her gain strength as she played by it.
I loved reflecting on the blessings of being a mother. But like all things that are rewarding sometimes there can be challenges. Recording our feelings is a great way to see progress and growth.
One of my family’s favorite recipes and traditions. We just made them at Christmas last week. Give them a try. I know your family will love them!
Why I love Fight the New Drug…
This blog post is very dear to my heart. I loved sharing my thoughts on the harmful effects of pornography. If you haven’t had a chance to read it, do yourself and your family a favor and take a look.
Halloween is pretty much my favorite holiday! And I love having matching Halloween Costumes. We had so much fun with our Return of the Jedi theme this year. You can check out this post with some of my favorite pictures.
Sunday Thoughts: Parable of the Hair Client
It’s always good to reflect on the life lessons you’ve learn. But also I learned how important it is to share your gratitude with those who have touched your life.
Calvin and Hobbes Birthday Party
It was hard to choose my favorite birthday party from this year! But I really loved throwing Draco this Calvin and Hobbes party. If you haven’t seen his cake yet you have to check it out. I LOVED how it turned out.
I have made a couple dress up options for my daughter. But I loved making her this dress. Even if she cried every time she saw it for months. Eventually she realized she liked her dress after all.
Musical Mania: Bye Bye Birdie Coke Floats
Our family had so much fun watching musicals and trying new treats. My kids loved having Cherry Coke Floats. And I loved to hear them crack up at Bye Bye Birdie.
I love looking back and seeing the progress of my sweet daughter and the hand of The Lord in our lives.
