I LOVE Valentine’s Day desserts! Our family usually dines in on Valentines Day. Going out is usually more expensive and I can’t stand the crowds. I love having a family dinner with crystal, china, and cloth napkins. We also like to eat by candlelight which the kids think is pretty cool. And the best way to finish off a fancy family dinner is with a Valentine’s Day dessert. Usually when I think of Valentines Day desserts I think of chocolate, strawberries, and thinks shaped like hearts. I wanted to round up some of my favorite dessert ideas today. I am still trying to pick what we are doing this year…
Homemade Crepes with Nutella and Strawberries
Cherry Almond Vanilla Cupcakes
Easy Mini Heart Filled Cookies
Cherry Krispie Treats with Dark Chocolate
Chocolate Caramel Covered Pretzels
Red Velvet Donuts with Cream Cheese Frosting
It’s so hard to choose! Usually we make our Homemade Crepes. They are easy, fancy, and really tasty! Last year we did the Cupid Floats and my kids LOVED them! I’m thinking we might try and make the Red Velvet Donuts this year. Donuts for Dessert sounds great, right? I thought the Jell-O Cake might be a sweet choice if you are trying to watch your carbs or calories. But I am defiantly more of a chocolate person. And maybe I should make some pretzel rods for Yoda’s Preschool class. But then those Oreo Truffles are calling my name…
