Welcome Bebe was the perfect theme to welcome my dear friends new baby boy! I love celebrating new babies, even if they are number 6 in a family. That’s the beauty of hosting sprinkle! It’s like a mini shower. Gifts aren’t necessary. All you need is some dear friends and great food. Which is why the Welcome Bebe Sprinkle Idea was so fun. Who doesn’t want to eat crepes and french macaroons.
One of the best ways to plan a sprinkle and keep it stress free is to host it with friends. Everyone does a little something and it comes together so much easier. Our menu included a crepe bar, croissants, French macaroons, and French Sodas. Simple and delicious.
Now crepes are a family favorite! We make them fairly often. But the secret is that they are super easy. I doubled this batch and was able to feed a little over a baker’s dozen. You always want to make sure you have extra servings for the mom to be! Our toppings were strawberries, bananas, Nutella, whipped cream, and Biscoff spread. A lot of our guest have never had Cookie Butter or Biscoff spread so they were in for a real treat! I may have put both biscoff and Nutella on my crepe. You are going to want to order some if you haven’t tried it)

The other delicious treat we had were French Macaroons. Now I have tried 4 different times to make these delectable cookies. And I knew it wouldn’t happen on my own. That’s when I reached out to my genuine friend/amazing baker of all the things- Jen Bosen. You may have read her blog Real Life- On Purpose. She is a lovely human being. Real. Genuine. And open about growth and change. You can also find her on Instagram. Which if you follow her you know baking is her jam.
And so we made these adorable cookies. And by we, I mean I watched, took mental notes, and tried to help with the dishes. Of course we chose the day with recent monsoons so it was a bit humid. But they were perfect for our sprinkle. And I might even have enough courage to try them again. It was seriously so kind of her to help me out. If you don’t have someone like Jen around you can always order them.
Croissants are easy and fun. You can grab some at Sam’s Club. Plus it’s good to have some yummy treats that aren’t super sugary. Although I found my daughter sneaked downstairs, and seeing that we had run out of crepes proceeded to spread Nutella all over a croissant. Clearly my daughter.
I also had some baguettes. How can one not think of baguettes with a French themed party. They added height and perfect for French Onion soup the next night for dinner.
We served French Sodas, a recipe from Everyday Reading. We had these last year at my daughter’s Fancy Nancy party and they are always so much fun. My friend Amy took care of the drinks and making the ice cubes. It’s always good to have some non alcoholic beverages up your sleeve, especially at baby showers or sprinkles. That was pretty much our menu.
And if YOU want to use this theme for a quick shower you can grab this printable pack to make this sprinkle even easier. It includes a Welcome Bebe banner, food tents, and little French flags perfect for putting in crepes, cupcakes, or drinks. The rest of the decor was simple. Arranging pom poms to resemble the French flag. Keeping decor and food simple makes it so much easier to throw a sprinkle together.

Thank you so much for reading. It was so fun to throw this Welcome Bebe Sprinkle with my friends. And I loved helping my girlfriend feel special as we celebrated her new little one. She does so much to help me and my family. It’s just a little way to show her we love her. The night was spent eating delicious dessert and catching up with dear friends. I love a good excuse to throw a get together. I hope these ideas make it easier for you to put together your own shower. And to remember it’s okay it everything isn’t perfect.
